Which AI tool do you use?

Pick where you'll work. We'll tailor the connection steps to that tool.

What will you use Grad Graph for first?

This shapes the skills, sources and prompts we set you up with. You can change it later.

Open the Grad Graph Skills Library.

Skills are pre-built analyses that run on your data, with no prompt engineering. Your organization's library lives in the Grad Graph dashboard.

1 Go to mcp.gradgraph.com and sign in.
2 Click Skills in the left-hand sidebar.
3 Open your organization's library, select the {{ focusTab }} tab, and find {{ featuredSkill }}.

What every skill page looks like

Every skill page is structured the same way. It outlines what the skill produces, which tools it draws on, and the Questions that will trigger skill use: the phrasings that make your tool reach for it on its own.

Download the skill and put it to work.

Here is the whole thing end to end: finding the skill, downloading it, and running it in your AI tool.

Downloading a skill and running it

Heads up: the walkthrough uses {{ demoSkill }} as its example, which may not be the skill you picked. The steps are identical for every skill in the library, including {{ featuredSkill }}.

Load the skill into {{ toolName }}

Four steps, and the skill stays available in every conversation.

1 On the skill page, hit Download skill. Your browser saves a folder with the skill inside.
2 Open {{ toolName }} and click Customize in the left-hand sidebar.
3 In the box that appears, click Add near the top right, then choose Upload skill.
4 Drag the folder you just downloaded into that upload area. That's it, the skill is live.

Download the skill, then install it in {{ toolName }}.

1 On the skill page, hit Download skill. Your browser saves a folder with the skill inside.

Follow the walkthrough above for the rest, or check the How to install card on the skill page for the written {{ toolName }} steps.

Two ways to run it

Once the skill is installed, you can call it by name or just describe what you need. {{ toolName }} recognizes both.

1. Call it explicitly

Type a forward slash and pick the skill by name. The tool runs exactly that, so this is best when you already know what you want.

{{ libraryPrompt }}
2. Use a trigger phrase

Or just ask in your own words. Each skill page lists the phrasings that activate it, so you never have to memorize a command.

First skill complete

Congratulations, you have successfully used your first skill with Grad Graph!

Everything from here is the same three moves: open the library, pick a skill, ask in your own words.

Behind every record in here is a real graduate whose career your institution helped shape. Knowing where they landed, what they earn, and who employs them is how you find the donor nobody thought to call, tell a prospective student a true story instead of a promise, and make the case for a program on evidence rather than instinct. That is the work this data is for, and you are set up to do it.
